English Smart 1 wainscoting (raw or primed version)

Raw version - MDF elements machined on a CNC machine

MDF version with a white primer, the purpose of which is not to cover the material with white, but to prepare the material for painting, therefore there may be discolorations that do not affect the final effect after painting.

1 meter of Smart Wainscoting includes:

- Strip/upper lower 16 cm / 2.2 cm, length 205 cm

- Vertical strip 10 cm/1.8 cm, length 205 cm (must be cut to height - we suggest 68 cm)

English wainscoting is a classic way of interior decoration. It gives character and elegance to rooms. It can be used in corridors, halls, guest rooms and even wedding halls. In addition to its decorative function, it also protects the wall against damage.

Assembly method:

0) the wall should be degreased and clean

1) start by installing the skirting board

2) then place the vertical strips at a convenient distance (we suggest about 35 cm, before cutting the strips to the height that suits you)

3) attach the top strip

4) Prime the strips and paint

5) use acrylic on the joints

6) if there are bends, you can use our corners or cut the strips at an angle of 45%.

Comments :

1. Use an adhesive with a quick initial grip, e.g. titanium GT, available on our website.

3. We also recommend silicone under the skirting boards to provide additional protection against moisture

4. Rooms where MDF paneling is installed should not be exposed to high air humidity, because the material will work.

5. Painting with a roller is a better solution because if damage occurs during use, you can always paint it again and it is less visible than when spraying.
