The main advantages and differences between the XPS Ceiling - Spot Lighting Cornice made of Styrodur and a ceiling made of plasterboard.

Installation - rules.
1. Before starting the installation, you must, of course, prepare the electrical installation. That is, connect the power supply and measure the cables to predict the places where you want the lighting to be placed.
2. The next step is to make holes for the halogen lamps in the points you have previously measured (do this before gluing the cornice to the ceiling) - this applies to cornices with room for halogen lamps.
3. Then apply glue to the cornice, push the cables inside and glue the cornice to the ceiling.
4. To ensure that the cornice adheres perfectly to the ceiling, we recommend using a telescopic support in several places so that the cornice adheres perfectly to the ceiling. If you hold it too short or press only two points. the cornice may stick out due to gravity, and you don't want to achieve this effect. (Because the cornices are flexible, you can stick them even on curved ceilings).
5. Repeat the operation until all elements are glued. (You make bends by cutting the cornice at an angle).
6. After installing the joint, smooth it with acrylic, sand it with fine sandpaper and finally paint it.
7. Once you have the cornices glued to the ceiling, you can start installing halogen lamps - this applies to cornices with room for halogen lamps.

8. The final stage is the installation of aluminum profiles for LED strips:

- measure the appropriate lengths of the profiles and cut them

- you can glue the profiles to the cornices with Tytan FIX GT glue. Spread it over the entire profile, in such an amount that it does not flow beyond the "profile wings". (Important: there must be a large amount of glue so that the profile does not peel off from the cornice).

- press evenly and wait until the glue sets

- insert the LED strip and put on the lampshade

ATTENTION! Dear customer, our cornices are produced in 2-meter sections (+/- 2 cm). Only an even number of meters can be purchased.
